| I've been enjoying my time blogging here, but sadly, it has to end. I travel often, and am unable to access this website from some of the countries where I often find myself.
But this blog won't come to an end. I've given it to a friend who will keep up with it, and will do a very nice job too. So, stop by and welcome her, and enjoy the new start at this spot.

Rushing to the airport for a late flight

To revisit my childhood abode

| Before I traveled to New Zealand, I was a bit reluctant to make the trip. I'd always heard it could get a little expensive, so I was pleasantly surprised that my friends and I were able to do the whole trip for a much lower cost than I expected. Accommodations were the one area that we did a fair amount of research, and ended up saving a bunch.
We found that hotels in Auckland were somewhat more expensive than other parts of New Zealand. We were, however, able to locate something good after a fair bit of research, and a little help from some friends. We didn't know aobut cheaperthanhotels.co.nz at the time, or we might have saved a fair bit of time locating affordable Auckland hotels. Looking through the site, I realize that there are more options than we realized when we were there, and that the prices don't have to be horrible.
